The Garden State gambling industry has transformed in another strong month.
According to figures from the New Jersey Department of Gaming Enforcement, the total gaming revenue reported by casinos, racetracks and their partners was $422.5 million for the month of April 2022, reflecting a 20.0% increase from the $352.2 million reported in April 2021.
During the first four months of 2022, gaming revenue totaled $1.6 billion, reflecting a 19% increase from the $1.35 billion reported during the same period in 2021.
Retail casino profit from nine Atlantic City casino hotels was $235.3 million for the month of April 2022, a growth of 24.1% compared to $189.6 million for the month of April 2021.
