A total of 71 live events and 12 online events have concluded so far in 2023. World Series of Poker. Almost $249 million in total prize money has already been awarded across those 83 events, along with the coveted prizes WSOP Bracelets for each hero. Here’s a look at two of the most recent events to wrap up this series.
2023 WSOP $600 No Limit Hold’em Championship
On the last day of 2023 WSOP The $600 No Limit Hold’em ‘Deestack Championship event Canadian David Guay wore a T-shirt with the words “Determination and Determination” written on it. Guay only showed those qualities when he emerged victorious from a field of 4,303 entries to claim his first gold bracelet and $271,032 title.
Guay narrowly came close to winning the WSOP the title twice before, placing second in both the 2017 $1,000 tag team event and the 2021 $1,000 double stack event. This time, he finally managed to come out on top of the face-off match while his bracelet hung in the balance.
With that win in mind, Guay now has nearly $1.5 million in recorded tournament winnings.
Guay has been joined by plenty of stiff competition in the business end of the event, including in 2020 WSOP Main Event National Championship winner Josef Hebert (33), bracelet winner Eric Kagelis (19) and bracelet winner Joe Ebanks (16).

2023 WSOP $500 Online Hold’em Deepstack No Limit
The UK’s Thomas ‘lultaxpayers’ Hall took the lead in 2023 WSOP Connected Deepstack No Limit $500 Event. The tournament attracted 1,754 players and 937 other re-entrants to create a prize pool of $1,210,950. As a result of the huge turnout, Hall earned $176,920 with his first bracelet after coming out on top.
It was the fourth largest score of Hall’s career, the largest being the $390,000 he earned as the fourth-place finisher at the 2018 Partybook Championship. He lives Millions Nottingham main event. He now has nearly $3.2 million in his lifetime earnings to his name.
Full real-name results for this tournament are not yet available, but there were plenty of publicly known screen-name notables who cashed in at the event, including bracelet winner and PokerGO announcer Brent Hanks (18th) and Aditya Agarwal (16th). ) and Brock Wilson (VI).
