UK-based Turkish businessman Orpen Kisacikoglu may not be a professional poker player, but you’d never know it by looking at his tournament resume. He has amassed over $15.1 million in record winnings across 97 cashes, with seven titles won including World Series of Poker Bracelet. Kisacikoglu’s latest victory saw him defeat 95 participants in event no. 6 in 2023 Poker masters High risk festival. Kisacikoglu earned $218,500 as champion of the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em event.
On his way to this title, Kisacikoglu faced some of the most accomplished players in the game, including two of the top three on the all-time poker money list: Justin Bonomo ($64.1 million in career earnings) and Stephen Chidwick ($52 million) in career earnings ).
