Having already set a record for a bad jackpot in the US in 2022, Pittsburgh’s Rivers Casino produced another big payout for eight No Limit Hold’em players on Tuesday night. The lucky winners won a share of the $905,622 grand prize.
Casinos that offer bad jackpot promotions take a dollar from each cash game pool to add to the jackpot prize pool. A push is triggered when a qualifying advantage hand is beaten by a larger hand. In this case, one player held four aces, but was beaten by another player with a Royal Flush.

In Rivers, the remaining players at the table split the final 30% evenly. That worked out to $45,281 for each of the other six players at the table.
