Christian Pulisic scored again and Luka Jovic scored his first goal for Milan as they beat promoted Frosinone 3-1 in Serie A on Saturday.
Pulisic raised his tally to five league goals in 12 matches, equaling Weston McKennie’s tally in the 2020-21 season with Juventus. No American has scored more than any other player in Serie A.

Milan initially struggled to create chances against the hard-working visitors, who had their best chance towards the end of the first half when Marvin Cooney had only Mike Maignan to beat. The Milan goalkeeper got the better of his one-on-one.
Jovic then scored at the other end in the 43rd minute, firing in a volley after Simone Romagnoli’s attempt to clear a Ruben Loftus-Cheek cross was nicely headed by the Serbian striker. This was his first goal in 10 matches for his team The Rossoneri.
Pulisic scored in the 50th minute, taking advantage of a long penalty kick from Mignan, and overcame several challenges before firing the ball over Frosinone goalkeeper Stefano Turati.
English defender Fikayo Tomori settled the result with his second goal this season, after preparing the ball for an easy end by Jovic, who headed the ball back into the danger zone after a perfect corner kick.
Marco Brescianini got a consolation for the visitors in the 82nd minute with a cross from a free kick that went past a number of players.
The win helped Milan consolidate third place.
