2023 WPT World Championship Festival at Wynn Las Vegas It’s soon in the books, and full results continue to trickle in from the massive festival that runs from November 29th to December 23rd.
The timeline for the series is full of notable events, which have largely wrapped up over the past few days. In addition to those major tournaments that hogged the spotlight, there were several huge tournaments that belittled the recent winners. Here’s a look at the results of some of those big side events.
WPT World Championship $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Seniors $500,000 GTD
One of the biggest events of last week, in terms of jackpot, was a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Seniors game. A total of 162 entries saw the $500,000 guarantee more than triple, with $1,539,000 ultimately awarded to the top 20 winners.
And in the end 14 times World Series of Poker Circuit Gold Ring winner Daniel Lowry emerged victorious with the title and $394,636. It was the largest tournament result to date for the Arkansas native. His lifetime earnings increased to more than $2.9 million.
Judith Bellan placed second, earning $236,978 for her efforts. Ten-time bracelet winner Erik Seidel fell just a few points short of the final table, taking home $33,553 as the 11th-place finisher.

WPT $3000 World Championship No Limit Hold’em $3 Million GTD
The $3 million guaranteed $3,000 buy-in tournament attracted 2,196 entries, doubling the guarantee. The top 274 finishers took home the money, with eventual champion Dennis Luis Ramos taking home $1,001,377.
It was the biggest result to date for the Brazilian, whose previous highest pay was the $276,696 he earned as champion of the 2022 tournament. Psop Millions The main event.
WPT Champion Matthew Wantman finished sixth with $223,239, the fifth-largest score of his career.

WPT $3,000 World Championship, $500,000 No Limit Hold’em Progressive Bonus GTD
The 582 entries made in the $3,000 No Limit Hold’em Progressive Bonus Event saw the $500,000 guarantee more than double ($1,017,960). The final bonus was secured by Clemen Deng, who earned $249,280 as the last player in the standings.
It was the second big result of the month for Ding, who also finished sixth in the tournament World Series of Poker Commission “Millionaire Maker” event for $103,500.
Brian Altman (16th), Breck Schouten (12th), John Riordan (11th), Alex Kolev (6th), and Bruno Fitoussi (5th) were among the many big names to take the plunge at the event.

WPT World Championship $3,000 No Limit Hold’em Six Max $500,000 GTD
Another major $3,000 buy-in event saw 572 entries for the six-max No Limit Hold’em tournament, more than tripling the $500,000 guarantee to build a final pot of $1,573,000.
Bracelet winner Dong Chen, who won the $10,000 Six-Max event at WSOP heaven Less than a week before this win, he had earned $290,048 as champion.
2023 WSOP Player of the Year Ian Matakis (10th place), 2022 WPT Prime Minister’s Championship Winner Stephen Song (9th), 2020 WSOP Main event champions Damien Salas (8th), Ping Liu (6th) and Nathaniel Coghill (2nd) were among the notable figures who made it to the end of the event.

WPT World Championship $1,100 Pot Limit Omaha $100,000 GTD
The $1,100 pot limit Omaha event ended up paying out more than five times its $100,000 guarantee. With 547 entries, the top 71 contestants took home cash.
Mike Lea, who was just a few days away from taking home an eight-game $2,200 combination at this festival, came out on top for his second title in the series. The Canadian earned $99,916 for this latest victory.
The winner of the bracelet and WPT The champion now has more than $8.6 million in lifetime cash under his belt.

WPT World Championship $1,100 up to Omaha 8 $100,000 GTD
The $1,100 Eight-or-Better Omaha event also doubled its $100,000 guarantee, attracting 209 entries for a prize pool of $202,730.
Two-time bracelet winner Nathan Gamble defeated fellow two-time bracelet winner Yuval Bronstein in heads-up to take the title and the grand prize of $47,472.
Craig Sheit (12th), Frankie Odell (11th) and Fabrice Soulier (3rd) also had strong performances.

WPT World Championship $3,000 Dealer’s Choice and $200,000 USD GTD
Nicholas Pupilo bested a field of 77 entries in the $3,000 Dealer’s Choice event, taking home $66,171 as champion. The $200,000 guarantee was just crossed in this mixed game, with the top nine winners taking home a share of the $211,750 prize pool.
Pubelo, who won his first bracelet this summer as tournament champion WSOP The $2,500 triple-draw event now has more than $5.3 million in recorded tournament winnings.
Five-time bracelet winner and back-to-back WSOP $10,000 Dealer’s Choice Champion Adam Friedman finished fourth, joining other big names like bracelet winner Bryce Yockey (eighth), three-time bracelet winner Jim Collopy (sixth), and Mark Gregorich (third) at the final table.
