the end of NFL The regular season saw big payouts for participants in major sports handicap competitions at Circa Casino. This included a record payout of approximately $9.3 million for Circa Survivor, which was split between the final four players.
In total, the conclusion of the football weekend generated payouts of $15.2 million to participants in Circa’s various competitions. Las Vegas gaming company contests have become some of the biggest seasonal events in the industry.
“When we launched these contests, we knew the prize had to be one of the most coveted in all of sports betting,” Circa Sports. CEO Derek Stevens said. “Every year we have upped the ante, and this was the biggest yet. Congratulations to all the winners and we look forward to seeing what the 2024-25 season brings.”
A look at the winners
Circa Survivor offered the highest possible payout of these events. The Last Man Standing competition allows players to choose one winner each week during the competition NFL season without repeating the team’s help. In the end, four players finished the season 20-0, each receiving $2.3 million for their efforts. The prize pool easily shattered the $8 million guarantee.
The four players, known as “IndianaJet” and “JAX”. Yags“, Greg Laughoncer Jones and the Circus Master all had to sweat it out in the end, but only a little. As it turns out, everyone had already agreed to a deal worth $2 million each, with any winner getting an additional $1.3 million on the side.
Two players had the Bengals, two players had the Raiders. Both teams won, so all four players split the prize pool equally.
In the Circa Million V Handicap, “Saint31” placed first throughout the entire season – taking home the $1 million first place prize. The competition came to an end as the difference between “Saint31” and “RDLOWN” was half a point at the start of the final match of the regular season. When Buffalo got the win over Miami, “Saint31” got the win of the season.
During the NFL This season, Circa Million has awarded $6 million in prizes, including $500,000 to second place “RDLOWN” and $375,000 each to third place winners “Two Gun” and LPCA.
Circa Million V also awarded payouts to winners every three months. The final check presentation is scheduled for January 12 at the D Las Vegas. Stevens and the Circa Sports team will recognize the winners of Circa Survivor as well as the winners of the full Circa Million V season and the fourth quarter.
Handicap tournaments have moved into the poker world in recent weeks. With 13 players remaining in Circa Survivor, high-stakes pro Sean Perry turned down an opportunity that would have given each player $400,000 and then see them play for the remaining $4 million. The 27-year-old son of poker pro Ralph Perry was the only holdout, but he withdrew shortly after the deal was called off.
Last year, poker players Jeremy Wynn, Jeff Abraham, Mike Buchmiller, and Russell Rosenblum formed a team that split the Circa Survivor tournament two ways, taking home more than $3 million in cash.
