Bgt Start #1 – $5,300 No Limit Hold’em
The first event of the new season attracted 89 entries, creating a prize pool of $445,000 that was divided among the top 13 finishers.
Coleman began his dominant showing at this festival with a landslide win, turning his early lead on Day 2 into the title and the $120,150 grand prize. He now has nearly $4 million in career tournament winnings to his name.
This was only the second live championship title of his career, his first having come previously CPPT Venice Subscribe for $1,600 just a few days before this victory closes. That win and his hat-trick of making the final table in the series has Coleman earning $336,989 so far in 2024. With 1,564 Card player Player of the Year 442 points Bgt Points, and he is currently sitting at the top of the leaders in both points races heading into the second half of January.
Coleman overcame plenty of stiff competition on his way to hoisting the trophy, including two-time bracelet winners John Riordan (11) and Eric Baldwin (9), 2013 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Ryan Reese (eighth), six-time bracelet winner Jeremy Ausmus (fourth), two-time Card player Boy Award winner Stephen Chidwick and bracelet winner Aram Zobayan (2nd).

Bgt Start #2 – $5,300 No Limit Hold’em
Coleman backed up his win with a fifth-place finish in the second event on the schedule. The prize pool rose to $450,000 in that tournament after 90 entries were made. After two days of play, Dylan Wiseman emerged victorious with the title and the $121,500 grand prize. It was the sixth-biggest tournament score so far for the bracelet winner, and the biggest payday of his career coming in a No Limit Hold’em tournament. Most of Wiseman’s success on the circuit has come on pot-limit Omaha editions and mixed game shows.
Wiseman now has nearly $2.6 million in lifetime tournament earnings to his name. He continued to follow up this win with a 10th place finish in event no. 3. As a result, it rose to second place in Bgt Ranking with 265 points.
Plenty of high-stakes regulars took part in the event, including two-time bracelet winner João Simão (11th), Ausmus (10th), Shawn Winter (8th), Victoria Lifshitz (7th), and two-time bracelet winner Jesse Lunes (7th ). ), and Coleman.
Sergey Kislinsky, who took 16th place in CPPT Venice Main Event less than a week ago, he earned $78,750 as runner-up.

Bgt Start #3 – $5,300 No Limit Hold’em
Justin Young came out on top in event no. 3, besting a field of 73 entries to take $105,850. the World Poker Tour The Las Vegas-based champion now has nearly $6.6 million in tournament results on record after this latest win. It was his 17th straight title and 304th in the money.
Young also had a 212 Bgt A point for the win to move up to third place Bgt Ranking.
Young finished this tournament in sensational fashion, scoring a double eight-pocket knockout against a top duo held by David Coleman and four-time bracelet winner Christine Foxen. Young fumbled a set of eights and held on from there to bring the event to an abrupt end.

Coleman took home $69,350 as runner-up thanks to having more chips than Foxen (3rd – $49,275) to start the final wild hand. Foxen’s earnings exceeded $7.7 million thanks to this deep run. She remains the second highest-paid tournament player in poker history, trailing only Vanessa Selbst ($10,899,027) on that leaderboard.
