the Charity Poker Series brings a night of fun for a good cause to Atlantic City, New Jersey when they host Hit the odds The event will start in just a few days on January 20th. All poker events will help raise money for St. Paul’s Hospital. Jude Children’s Research Hospital: Finding cures. Save the children. St. Jude leads the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
The evening will begin when players will have an open bar and appetizers during the silent auction and cocktail hour at the Borgata’s beautiful Level One Cocktail Bar and Lounge starting at 6:30 p.m.
The party then moves to the Central Convention Center for the Turbine Poker Tournament with plenty of cash prizes. The $225 Charity Poker Tournament begins at 8:00 p.m., and re-entries for $225 and add-ons are available until registration closes at 9:30 p.m.
Half of the prize pool will go to payouts, and the other half will go to charity. There will be additional rewards for the winner and the player with the most re-entries, as well as several silent auction prizes. Here’s a look at List of items Up for grabs at the silent auction.
Anyone is welcome to attend the cocktail hour and silent auction for $100 without participating in the tournament. Attire for all events is casual. The silent auction will begin at the start of the pre-tournament reception and will close at 11:00 p.m.
Established in 2014, Charity Poker Series is a non-profit corporation established to organize and promote charity poker tournaments and other events that raise money and awareness for charities and worthy causes. Poker pro Matt Stout is the founder and president CSOP. This upcoming event will be the 58th stop for the series, and the first event to be hosted on the East Coast for 2024.
