A total of 10 levels were played for 60 minutes on Day 1A, and when the dust settled, only 40 players moved on to Day 2, which will resume at noon on Sunday, November 13th. It belongs to Dustin Nelson, who got 379,000. Nelson is a Florida poker player with over $800,000 in lifetime earnings, and he’ll be looking to add a chunk of change to that here in the next couple of days.
There was also a strong group of poker players at the top of the chip count at the end of tonight’s play. Jeff Trudeau raised 337,000 at the end of play, and the consummate pro has won 27 poker tournaments at various subscriptions in his career, including 10 episodes of the World Series of Poker Circuit). His earnings come in at nearly $3 million, and he’s well-positioned to add more to that total after finishing his second night in the chips.
Adam Wells is close to topping the leaderboard after taking in 286,500, and his poker earnings stand in the six-figure region with the majority of his success going to Florida poker rooms. former WPT bestbet Bounty Scramble Winner Josh Adkins also came close to leading the 1B bracket at the end of play with a score of 276,000.
A number of Day 1B’s big names showed up but failed to collect the chips, including the event’s defending champions Ben Scroggins, Derek Powers, William Lowry, Donavon Wright and Aaron Thevyanathan.
The second day will start at noon on Sunday 13 November. The returning field of 64 players is scheduled to play 10 more levels of 60-minute poker tomorrow, or until they reach the final table, whichever comes first.
The final schedule will be broadcast live with coverage of action cards on bestbetLIVE.
