Christina Reed topped the field of 326 entries in the $50,000 Guaranteed Overlay Ladies Tournament at The Lodge Poker Club & Card House in Round Rock, Texas to claim the first prize of $28,466. It was the sixth tournament victory of her career, and her total earnings came to $232,290.
“Thank you to everyone who helped put this together and supported all the ladies,” Reade said in a social media post.
Reid’s other tournament wins over the years include the women’s victories in the Aria poker classic ($135 purchase happened in 2015), Malta Poker Festival (European 100 purchase event), and The International Women’s Poker Championship (A $450 subscription event in 2022). Entrepreneur and frequent high-stakes poker player Bill Perkins (pictured above during the event) announced a $500 No-Limit Hold’em tournament (with chipping in at $50,000) in response to the recent women’s event in Showdown Seminole Hard Rock Poker It was won by a player named David Hughes.

The Final Table was broadcast live by The Lodge, with commentary from Ruth Hall and Jamie Kerstetter. The last five players made a deal on the basis ICM. Ashley Frank, a poker vlogger known to many as PokerfaceAsh, took fourth place with $23,343.
The last hands saw Reading flop up ten in a row against the Krisha Augerot Pocket Kings. All-chips entered with Reading as the 97-percent favorite to win the aggregate and the title. Augerot was drawing dead after void on the turn, finishing second for $27,641.
