Beckham is one of the latest players to train with the B side, and sources have told ESPN he is not in trial and there is no suggestion of a permanent move to Brentford at this point.
Beckham was signed to Inter Miami II, the reserve team for the MLS team David founded in 2018, but is based in London and has benefited from Brentford B’s flexible schedule since they do not play in a competitive league.
Second-placed Inter Miami finished sixth in the East End last season, but Beckham was shared among the division’s top assists with 10 of 20 games.
Writing on Instagram, Beckham said, “Season one was full of ups and downs. It wasn’t the end we wanted as a team but only lessons learned for next year. Love this team and the journey we’re on.”
