Peter Mullen lost a triple all-around with six hole cards to an AK from Abhisek Panda and an AQ to bracelet winner Tamas Lendvai, with aces and queens winning for Lendvai. Mullen earned $10,548 as the ninth-place finisher. Lendvai (eighth – $13,341) ended up being the next to fall when his KQ suit collided with the AK of Panda.

Waigel won a race against two-time bracelet-winning Nipun Java ($4 – $41,573), with an appropriate AQ of best pocket sevens to give him the lead on three-handed play. Panda was able to fight back in time for the next big hand, though. Waigel had it all with the best pair of queens and ace kicker, only to find himself facing Panda’s first combination. Weigel was a dead draw with one card coming and was sent home $58,016 for a third-place appearance.
Panda entered heads-up with 11,000,000 to Perry’s 4,900,000. Perry made a flush into a large bowl for even draft, then moved forward slightly. The final two then began striking a deal that ultimately ended the event, with Perry taking the title and $99,084 while Panda taking home $97,612 as the runner-up.
