Jim Collopy topped a field with 1,143 entries in 2023 World Series of Poker $1,500 Omaha for an eight or better event, $262,542 win and his third career WSOP Gold bracelet to win.

This event took three days to complete. It was Obst’s first finish at the final table in any live tournament since 2018. Around that time, he took an extended break from poker to pursue his dream of becoming a professional tennis player.
Runner-up Nick Coast earned $162,266 for the second-most score of his career. The bracelet winner from Okemos, MI now has over $732,000 in professional tournament earnings, with the largest part of that being the $283,275 he earned as the winner of that same event in 2014.
