Adam Pliska has been with World Poker Tour From the very beginning, along with the company recently celebrated 20 years in the game. the WPT President and Executive Director He served as general counsel for the tour for several years before switching to the executive side. Under his leadership, the tour has since grown to a truly global scale and most recently hosted a $29 million prize pool. WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.
Before Pliska took over the leadership of the WPTWorked in TV production. the USC A film school graduate helped launch shows such as BaywatchAnd the Earn Ben Stein Moneyand restart Lacey. He eventually decided to go back to law school, and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. He was ready to take a job with the Senate Judiciary Committee on Intellectual Property Law when his good friend Steve Lipscomb approached him with an offer of a brand new TV poker show that had not yet been syndicated. Pliska decided to gamble at first, and the rest is history.
