On Friday, September 8th, PokerGO and Aria Resort and Casino will host a charity poker tournament for the Clark County Police Injured Officers Fund, an organization that helps reduce the financial burden of those injured in the line of duty.
The $1,000 Sign-up Event includes $500 buybacks, plus $500 to $1,000 worth of add-ons. Half of the total prize pool will go to players, and the other half will go to charity.
The tournament starts at 5pm PST at the PokerGo Studio on the Las Vegas Strip, with 100,000 chips to start.
High-stakes poker pro Sean Perry is set to turn up and has decided to up the ante by taking on all comers in a one-on-one challenge to help the cause.
Participation in the heads-up challenge is $1,000. Those who beat Perry will receive $1,500, of which $500 will go to charity. If Perry wins, he will donate the entire $2,000 to the World Health Organization IPOF.
