Bally’s Corporation has announced that the Twin River Lincoln Resort Casino in Bali has officially opened 40,000 square feet of new gaming space in an expansion of the casino floor.
This expansion fulfilled an element of a new law passed by the General Assembly and signed into law by Governor McKee in 2021.
Joining Bali’s representatives are Gov. Daniel McKee, House Speaker K. Joseph Shekarchi, Senator Frank Ciccone, who serves as chairman of the Joint Committee on the State Lottery, Lincoln City Manager Philip Gould, and George Nee, the chair, AFL–Chief Information Officerat Bally’s Lincoln on April 25 for its grand opening.
“We are happy to celebrate [the] “The grand opening is alongside many of our valued partners, including Governor McKee, House and Senate leadership, our union workforce, our regulators, the lottery division and the Department of Business Regulation,” said Craig Eaton, President of Paley Operations in Rhode Island.
The expanded gaming floor, along with other property improvements, represents a $100 million investment.
The new gaming area includes 355 slot machines, 57 table games, 27 stadium-style games, and a high-limit game area.
“This expansion marks another important milestone not only for Lincoln Pale but for Rhode Island itself,” said Governor McKee. “We are grateful to Bally’s for its continued partnership that contributes to our workforce, the economy, and the country as a whole. I also want to congratulate Bally’s on completing this significant expansion and continuing to invest successfully in the future of Rhode Island.”
The casino employs about 1,000 union members. They are part of approximately 10,500 employees nationwide for Bally.
Bally currently owns and operates 15 casinos in 10 states, a horse racing track in Colorado and has access to online sports betting licenses in 18 states. It also owns Bally’s Interactive International, formerly Gamesys Group, an online casino gambling company.
The company’s casino operations include approximately 15,000 slot machines, 600 table games, and 5,300 hotel rooms.
