2023 World Series of Poker The $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event is officially the biggest of all time.
With a total of 10,043 players, this year’s World Championships attracted 1,270 more entries than the previous record entry of 8,773 in 2006, an increase of 14.5 percent. Thanks to the sea of players who flocked to Paris and Horseshoe Las Vegas for this tournament, the prize pool has ballooned to a record $93,399,900. This amount is set to be distributed among the top 1,507 winners this year, with a minimum cashout again of $15,000.
The eventual champion of this historic event will receive $12,100,000 to go with WSOP Championship bracelet. It will be the largest prize ever paid out in a main event, surpassing the $12 million earned by 2006 world champion Jimmy Gould.
This year’s grand prize will exceed the previous record by $100,000, though this year’s prize pool is nearly $10.9 million more than in 2006. That’s due to the top 15 percent of field money this year versus the top 10 percent that was doing so in that time.
This will be the fifth time that File WSOP The main event champion earned an eight-figure pay day, with this year’s winner joining Gold ($12,000,000), defending champion Espen Jorstad ($10,000,000), and 2019 Champion Hossein Ensan ($10,000,000). dollars) and 2014 winner Martin Jacobson ($10,000,000).
The top eight finishers are set to earn seven-figure salaries, with the runner-up taking home $6.5 million and the third-place finisher taking home $4 million. Late registration was open until the start of Level 8 on Day 2D. A total of 507 entries were made in the last day to see the total number exceed 10,000 teachers. As the day wore on, there were 9,536 entries entered during the first day’s four-day and 2ABC day trips.
