The English Premier League women’s football team, Kristen Press, has announced that his ACL has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament, and he will miss the rest of the season.
Bryce sustained the injury during Angle City’s 3-2 win over Racing Louisville on Saturday in regular NBA play, having to be carried by her teammates in the 64th minute after scoring a goal and assist earlier in the game.

“My heart is broken: you tore up my role,” Press wrote on Twitter.

Angel City later confirmed that Bryce had been put on the season-ending injury list.
“We are appalled that Christine has suffered this injury,” Angel City coach Freya Comb said in a statement to the team. “She has been fantastic on and off the field for us this year. The team, our staff and the entire Angel City organization are here to fully support Kristen as she recovers and back on the field.”
The news came after Press was excluded from the USWNT roster announced on Monday for next month’s CONCACAF W Championship 2022. Coach Vlatko Andonovsky later said that Bryce would not have been included in the list even if she was in good health.
Press is the latest USWNT player to suffer a serious injury recently. Last week, Catarina Macario announced that she also suffered an AFC Champions League rupture in Lyon’s last game of the season, while forward Lynne Williams and defender Terna Davidson were left out for the remainder of the NFL season in March.
Press, 33, has 64 goals and 33 assists for the USWNT in 155 games. She has two goals in eight games for Angel City this year.
