Three huge, high-stakes tournaments concluded in South Korea over the weekend as part of 2024 Triton Super High Roller Jeju Series It takes place at Jeju Casino Landing. The tournaments, representing events 3 to 5 of the 17 on the schedule, attracted 788 entries between them. As a result, more than $20.6 million in combined prize money was paid out at those events, with each of the three champions being crowned with seven-figure jackpots. The third event of the series attracted 298 entries worth $25,000 apiece, resulting in a final prize pool of $7,450,000. After two days of high-stakes action, Paulios Vaitikonas came out on top with the title and $1,077,499 grand prize.
It was the biggest result recorded in the tournament to date for a Lithuanian player, as he wasted the $363,300 he earned when he finished 14th in last year’s tournament. A three-way deal was struck between Vaitiekunas, eventual runner-up Alexander Tkacho, and Aram Oganyan. Vaitiekunas received the smallest amount of money, but ended up receiving the largest amount of the three competitors when he was awarded the title and a $100,000 prize money reserved for the winner as part of the deal. Oganyan walked away with the $989,501 he negotiated, while Tkatschew took home $1,002,000 as runner-up.

Triton Jeju Event 4 – $30,000 No Limit Hold’em Eight Max
The $30,000 event was the largest purchase to date Triton Jeju. A strong turnout of 185 entries created a prize pool of $5,550,000 paid out among the top 31 winners. In the end, Adrian Matthews took the lion’s share of that total. The four-time bracelet winner from Spain received US$1,175,000 for the win. This was his victory in the Triton event, also the first for any Spanish player.

The win increased Mateos’ career tournament earnings to $41,800,226, good for 12th on the all-time poker money list.

Triton Jeju Event 5 – $25,000 GG Million$ No Limit Hold’em
The $25,000 GG Million No-Limit Hold’em event attracted the largest turnout to date at the festival, with 305 entries earning a prize pool of $7,625,000. Austria’s Mario Mosbock was the last player standing, pocketing $1,191,196 for the win after defeating Sergio Aidu in heads-up. The latter two reached an agreement that redistributed the prize money slightly. As a result, Aido received greater compensation, because it was ahead at the time the deal was made. He walked away with $1,237,804 for his efforts.
Mosbock now has approximately $10.9 million in career earnings after this latest victory. His biggest result came when he placed second in a $1 million buy-in WPT Big one for one drop Last December for more than $4.6 million.
Both Mosbock and Aido are now in the top 30 of the rankings Boy The rankings are with Mosbock in 13th place and Aido in 27th place. Mosbock got 1680 Boy as the winner, while Aido received 1,400 points as the runner-up.
