Poker tournament action was fast and furious at Bestbet Jacksonville during the 2022 Summer Heater Series, which ran from August 11-21.
A total of 1,874 entries were entered across the 11 tournaments that featured the table, with more than $990,000 in prize money paid out along the way.
The focus of the entire festival was the $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em main event. The tournament attracted a field of 374 entries, building a $497,420 prize pool that was paid out among the top 47 contestants.
After setting off two trips and another day of work, Yi Li, a Jacksonville resident, won the title, trophy, and first prize of $101,146.
This was the second biggest hit of Lee’s career, and his lifetime tournament earnings increased to over $450,000. The summer heater It started with a $400 No-Limit Hold’em event that included five rides from August 11-13. The tournament attracted 750 participants, bringing its prize pool to more than a quarter of a million dollars. Ultimate Champion Bobby Teo earned $50,801 for the win.
Other notable winners included Raminder Singh, who defeated $260 in the Hold’em no-limi event to take his 42nd career title, and Matthew Griffin, who topped the final table that included two-time bracelet winner Yuval Bronstein to emerge victorious in a $500 buy-out deal. At the closing ceremony, he won $10,079.
