Two players in Big Bet Poker LIVE got into a heated argument during a hand, resulting in some bizarre threats.
Big Bet Poker LIVE streams high-stakes cash games that take place at Bally’s Poker Room at Tropicana on the Las Vegas Strip. Several big names from the poker scene have made guest appearances, with lesser-known individuals also playing.
The broadcast was simmering Wednesday night when two players got caught up in a war of words. The people involved appear to be Jason Liu and Austin Yu. They were both part of a hand when the trash talk started and escalated rapidly:
Leo, who brought a Bible with him, said during the sermon that he was bipolar and insane. After Yu asked if the New York native knew who he was, Liu responded by declaring he didn’t give a f**k and saying he would beat his opponent, proposing to take the matter outside.
Yu then went on to say, “I will lose your mother in front of you and torture her while you watch.” The alternation back and forth in a similar fashion continued for another minute or so before the producers decided to stop the game.

The YouTube chat was still running after the end of the live broadcast, with Big Bet Poker LIVE reporting that Jason was scheduled to return to play on Friday. When the channel was asked about what happened after the cameras stopped rolling, the channel said that security should be called to break up a fight between the players.
Austin was at the bottom of the cumulative winnings ranking of seven people at the time of the discussion, having lost $19,200, and Jason was only $100 in the red after just joining the event.
Liu has been getting a lot of attention for his antics at the Las Vegas poker tables in recent weeks. Several videos on Twitter show him dancing during matches and confronting fellow players:
