Police in California have arrested a man in connection with the vandalism of dozens of vehicles in a casino parking lot. During his three-month stint, Matthew Ebner flattened the tires of at least 35 vehicles at the Table Mountain Casino in Fresno.

Many victims noted that they were struck by metal spikes. Fresno County Sheriff’s Office deputies eventually identified Ebner by linking him to a suspicious truck and arrested the 53-year-old at his home on Wednesday. They found homemade metal spikes — things designed to stick to tires and flatten them — during the search.
Police believe Ebner had a long-standing feud with the casino, which led him to commit thousands of dollars’ worth of property damage. The basis of the dispute is currently unclear. The Dos Palos resident was sent to Fresno County Jail on $25,000 bail. He is being considered for several vandalism-related charges.
