The soon-to-open Fontainebleau Las Vegas is billed as a “luxury hotel in the heart of the Vegas Strip,” but the resort may have some safety issues — if an anonymous builder is to be believed.
“Six pieces of great glass” fell from the Fontainebleau Tower
Las Vegas guide and media personality Jen G approached X with a message she received from a construction worker in Fontainebleau. The whistleblower – who Jin J claims to have confirmed to be a Fontainebleau employee – said “six large pieces of glass” had fallen from the tower due to winds and storms over the past six months. These landed next to the pool deck where people will sunbathe when the resort opens.
Fontainebleau’s developers want to open the resort – which will include a hotel and casino – in December, but they can’t find contractors to replace the glass or “make it safe,” the whistleblower said.
So far, these claims are unconfirmed. Jen G also received an email from a project management employee who partially refuted the allegations. They said that while the site’s glass was indeed damaged by temporary scaffolding, “the glass is structurally sound and was inspected by three people.”Research and development The party – old and new.
Many X users participated to give their opinion on this matter. One of them, Bernon John, expressed concern about the “outdated and neglected” parts of the building as it had been “under construction for many years”. Meanwhile, others were less convinced by the claims, with one user David Keres branding them “BS”. “It is almost impossible for windows to blow out,” he added.
