Midfielder Tyler Adams He returns to the US Men’s National Team roster for the first time since the 2022 World Cup, as the US Soccer League looks to win the CONCACAF Nations League title later this month.

Aiming to win the Nations League for the third time, the United States will face Jamaica in the semifinals on March 21 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The final matches and the third-place match will be held three days later in the same location, with the participation of Mexico and Panama. The U.S. players will begin reporting on March 18 in the Dallas metropolitan area.
Pulisic is the player with the most appearances on the roster with 64 appearances. Fulham defender Tim Ream Next with 55.
“The goal in front of us is clear. We want to compete for our third Nations League title and continue to challenge ourselves to achieve success in the playoffs,” USA head coach Gregg Berhalter said as part of the announcement. “This is a group of players who have a lot of experience in this type of game and we are looking forward to this opportunity.”
Adams overcame injury to join the USMNT for the first time since captaining the team at the World Cup in Qatar more than 15 months ago. The 25-year-old was joined by the Norwich City striker Josh Sargent, who has also struggled with injuries since that tournament. Adams has suffered from a recurring hamstring problem, while Sargent suffered an ankle injury last August that kept him out of action for four months.
Adams is yet to see the field for Bournemouth this season, but made the bench for the 2-2 draw with Sheffield United last weekend.
“This decision was basically the result of months of communication with his club, to track where he is, to know the levels he performs in training, the loads he does and trains,” Berhalter said of Adams during a media availability.
“Then finally having a conversation with his coach a couple of days ago, and really hearing the coach, where he thinks Tyler is, he couldn’t say enough good things about him. They certainly think at the club he has enough to play. To 45 minutes for us.”
“And as soon as we heard that, we thought of this idea because he means a lot to the team, on and off the field. It would be good to have him back. His last time with the national team was at the World Cup. He’s been out for a while and it would be good to have him back in this group.”
Sargent has been in fine form since his return in late December, scoring a total of 12 goals in 19 league and cup appearances this season. Ten of those goals have been scored since the start of 2024.
Finally, 21 of the 23 players have been part of at least one Nations League-winning team. Seven participated in both tournaments: Serginio Destmakini, Younis MusaPulisic, Gio Reyna, Anthony Robinson And Tim and Ya. Dest was suspended for the semi-final against Jamaica after receiving a red card in the CNL’s final AFL match in Trinidad and Tobago last November.
“Of all the times we had to choose squads, this was probably the most difficult team we had to choose because of the nature of the competition, or the level at which the players are performing and the depth we have in our national team. Swim now,” Berhalter added.
The Reggae Boyz are a familiar foe for the United States, with the two teams having met 32 times in their history dating back to 1988. 22 of those encounters have come in official competition, including four in the past three years. While the USA has a 19-3-10 all-time advantage, seven of its last 10 games have been decided by a goal or less.
